Nancy bergamot, a sweet full of memories
At the Foire Expo, Maison des Sœurs Macarons celebrated the 30th anniversary of the Nancy Bergamot PGI label with demonstrations, tastings… and memories shared by visitors.
As part of an event dedicated to Nancy bergamot at the Foire Expo, Guillaume Génot and Maison des Sœurs Macarons offered several batches of bergamot sweets and tastings throughout the day.
We took the opportunity to hand the microphone to visitors and ask them a simple question: what does bergamot mean to them?
A childhood memory, a little Sunday treat, a souvenir to bring back from Lorraine… and for some, a veritable collection of tins! One thing is certain: this iconic sweet from Nancy is about so much more than just a treat.
