The Maison des Sœurs Macarons is the oldest traditional macaron confectionery in Nancy. Founded in 1793, it is the sole holder of the real secret of the authentic recipe of the Macaron Sisters, the origin of the Macaron de Nancy.
This delicious crunchy meringue biscuit with a soft centre and a taste of roasted almonds is made using only sugar, egg whites and French almonds (gluten free).
The original recipe for these Macaroons is a closely guarded secret. For over two centuries, these cakes have been an essential part of Lorraine's gastronomy and heritage.
